SEVENTH GRADE JUNIOR KNIGHTS TAKE CHAMPIONSHIP

Centennial High School's seventh-grade Lacrosse team won the Metro Area Youth Lacrosse Championship.   The Jr Knights competed against other high school feeder teams from North Fulton, Cobb, Forsyth and Cherokee counties.  They finished the season with a winning record of 17-1 in the Jr Select Division, and cinched the title by defeating South Forsyth in the playoffs and then Harrison in the Championship game.

KNIGHTS STAR SIGNS TO PLAY IN COLLEGE

Austin Trockenbrot has signed to play Lacrosse at St. Andrews Presbyterian College. Here he is pictured with parents Tim and Kaye Trockenbrot and Melanie Watson, athletics director Phil Thomas and head coach Steve Jameson.

THE VARSITY BOYS
The Centennial Boys Varsity season came to an end Tuesday night as the team fell in the first round of the playoffs at Harrison, ranked No. 4 in the state. The team finished 8-11 this season while playing three teams in the Top 10 and making the playoffs for the first time in three years. THE VARSITY GIRLS
The Lady Knights were 1-1 in their last two games, ending their season with a 13-2 win over Pace Academy on April 23 and then losing at home Friday night, 22-7 to Westminster.

 

 

 

 

 

THE JV BOYS
The season is over and the JV Boys Team finished 7-4-1.

 

 

 

 

 

 

THE JV GIRLS
The JV Girls finished their season with a 12-0 win at Grayson Tuesday night.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Seventh-Grade Team Remains Undefeated With Two Wins Over Weekend
The seventh-graders went to 12-0 as they knocked off Cherokee (8-2) and South Forsyth (15-2) over the weekend. The team will return to action Tuesday night at West Forsyth at 7:30. The eighth-grade team will play Monday night at Roswell at 7:30.
